Our world famous Fruit Pastes are the perfect addition to any platter board – but what else can you use them for?
Well, we have some tips on how to use our Fig Fruit Paste!
Pancakes
That’s right, your Sunday breakfast treat just got a lot better. Heat slightly on the stove-top and drizzle over a teaspoon or tablespoon (however much sweetness you need) of the Fig Fruit Paste! This is also a great combination with bananas.
Smoothies
Try this healthy and flavourful smoothie recipe:
1 TBSP Fig Fruit Paste (heat slightly)
1 Banana
1 Handful of frozen raspberries
1 Cup of your choice of milk (we used coconut)
1 tsp chia seeds
1 Scoop of your choice of vanilla protein (we love Dose and Co’s dairy-free)
Oatmeal
Add some Fig Fruit Paste to your next oatmeal creation – whether you’re following the baked oatmeal trend or love it soaked overnight, add in some Fig Paste for a tasty fruit hit.
Glaze
You may have seen our Fruit Pastes used as glazes over the years. We have a few recipes using them to add a distinctive taste to your favourite dishes. Why not try adding Fig to your next roast chicken or even on tofu.
Toast
Our all-time favourite use for Fig Fruit Paste – adding onto perfectly toasted bread along with some delicious melted butter. It’s the best way to start your morning!
